Tailwinds is not an air carrier or licensed aviation operator. Tailwinds is a charter facilitation company that connects clients with DGCA-licensed aircraft operators. All flights are operated by licensed third-party operators. By requesting our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Definitions
Tailwinds / Company / We / Us means Tailwinds, a charter facilitation company based in Mumbai, India.
Client / You means any individual or entity requesting charter facilitation services from Tailwinds.
Operator means any DGCA-licensed Non-Scheduled Operator Permit (NSOP) holder engaged by Tailwinds to provide air carriage services.
Charter Services means helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft charter flights facilitated by Tailwinds through Operators.
Booking means a confirmed request for Charter Services placed by a Client with Tailwinds.
2. Nature of Services
Tailwinds acts solely as a facilitator and agent. We arrange and coordinate charter flights on your behalf through licensed Operators. We do not own, operate, or maintain any aircraft.
All air carriage is provided by the Operator, who bears full responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with the Aircraft Act, Aircraft Rules, and DGCA regulations.
3. Bookings & Confirmations
All bookings are subject to aircraft availability and Operator confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Tailwinds via email or WhatsApp.
You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of booking, including passenger names, weights, travel dates, and destination details.
4. Payments
Full payment is due upon confirmation of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise agreed. Additional charges may apply for last-minute changes, extended wait times, overnight crew stays, excess baggage, or catering requests.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp. The following policy applies unless otherwise agreed:
More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund, less any non-recoverable operator costs.
48–72 hours before departure: 75% refund of total charter amount.
24–48 hours before departure: 50% refund of total charter amount.
Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund. Full amount forfeited.
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
6. Flight Delays & Cancellations
Flights may be delayed or cancelled due to weather, technical issues, air traffic control restrictions, DGCA directives, or other causes beyond reasonable control. In the event of an Operator-initiated cancellation, Tailwinds will arrange an alternative or provide a full refund. Tailwinds is not liable for consequential losses such as hotel stays or missed connections.
7. Passenger Obligations
All passengers must arrive at least 30 minutes before departure, carry valid photo ID, comply with crew safety instructions, and be medically fit to travel. Passengers under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances will be refused boarding. Passengers who miss their flight due to late arrival are not entitled to a refund.
8. Baggage Policy
Baggage allowance is determined by the Operator and aircraft type and will be communicated at booking. Soft-sided bags are preferred on helicopters. The following items are strictly prohibited: firearms, explosives, flammable materials, contraband, aerosol cans, and any items prohibited under aviation regulations.
9. Limitation of Liability
Tailwinds' liability is limited to its role as a facilitator. Tailwinds is not liable for acts or omissions of the Operator, death or personal injury from aircraft operations, delays or cancellations due to force majeure, or any indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the charter amount paid for the specific flight.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in Mumbai in the English language.
11. Privacy
Tailwinds collects and processes personal information solely for arranging your charter. We do not sell or share your information with third parties except to the extent necessary to facilitate your booking. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
12. Amendments
Tailwinds reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

When you request charter services, we collect: full name, contact number, and email address; passenger names and weights; travel details including origin, destination, and dates; and payment information processed securely through third-party partners.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to arrange and confirm your charter, communicate flight details, process payments, comply with DGCA regulatory requirements, and provide customer support. We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing.
Confidentiality
Tailwinds treats all client information with the highest level of confidentiality. Your travel information is never shared with third parties other than the Operator facilitating your flight, and only to the extent strictly necessary. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, ever.
Data Security & Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us directly.
